Wright Flyers Aviation, Inc., d/b/a Wright Flyers Academy, was established in 1982, and today is one of the largest and most professional flight training centers in the United States. Located on the Hondo Municipal Airport (KHDO), Wright Flyers offers FAA Part 141 approved courses from Private Pilot through ATP Multi-Engine, and is also the San Antonio area’s only authorized Cessna Pilot Center. Wright Flyers is also approved by the CAAC to provide airline pilot training programs to the Chinese airline industry. US students have the option to earn an accredited Associate or Bachelor degree in Aviation through our affiliation with the UVU Global Aviation Degree Program and ERAU campus at nearby Randolph AFB. VA benefits are accepted and student loans are available for those who qualify.
