Flight Training Organization (FTO) – Air School of the University of Zilina
...The mission and FTO activities:
The main activity of the FTO is to provide practical flight training not only for students of the Department of Air Transport but also for other applicants from the Slovak Republic and other countries. The FTO also provides air services.
The main areas of the FTO of University of Zilina activities are:
-basic training up to the level of Private pilot - PPL (A)
-training up to the level of Commercial pilot CPL (A)
-IFR training
-instructor training
-multi-engine training MEP (A)
-training to achieve ratings
-training of ’frozen ATPL’
-traffic controllers training
-theoretical and practical training for other air services
-theoretical and practical training for operations of ground handling
-air transport
-air services paid for
-realization of abroad business
-maintenance, repairs, modifications and constructional changes in flight technology
-counseling and advisory activities
-retraining activities
The above mentioned activities are provided by the FTO in accordance with the status of the University of Zilina, Aviation Authority of the Slovak Republic, aeronautical annexes and the FTO operational manual.
