Thomas Flight Centre provides personalized, professional flight training in a
relaxed and friendly environment. Our mature, dedicated, career Flight
Instructors offer you a diverse range of flight experience. St. Thomas Flight
Centre offers flight training from the Recreational Pilot Permit through to
Commercial Pilot License and Multi-Engine Instrument Ratings. The Flight Centre
has been granted "Private
Career College"
status by the Provincial Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities under
the Private Career Colleges act, 2005, providing complete training of
Commercial Pilots and Flight Instructors.

Whether you are interested in flying recreationally or choose aviation as a
career, We can assist you in achieving your goals. A flight-training program
will be customized to suit your schedule. Three Class-one Instructors are
available to provide you with first-rate education and personalized
instruction. The Flight Instructor Rating and tail wheel checkouts are also
available.
Choosing the St. Thomas Flight Centre you will be provided with first rate
education and personalized instruction. Our instructors combined have over 120
years of flying experience with our Chief Flight Instructor logging over 20,000
hours. Our small school atmosphere provides a strong relationship between
instructor and student which makes flight training more of an enjoyable and
rewarding experience.
Our flight school is located at the St.
Thomas Airport
which is in an uncontrolled zone. This means there is no waiting on the ground
for a clearance from a control tower. Once you are ready to go, you can take
off right away at your discretion and beginning training. The owner and head of
our aircraft maintenance is a certified AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer)
therefore our fleet of aircraft are inspected and maintained above and beyond
the maintenance standards.
We are proud to be the only flight school around with Transport Canada approved
written exams.
