As a nonprofit organization, The Palm Springs Pilots Association has four main focuses and goals. These include promoting free aviation, education, safety seminars, and perpetuation of the industry. As part of our program to ensure the sustainability of the industry, The Association advocates the conservation of airspace, aviation services and maintenance of airports.
We strongly believe that accessibility to education is an integral method to perpetuate the industry and we are devoted in training the next generation of qualified and skilled pilots and aviation technicians. We offer certification programs in flight training, aircraft mechanic training and air traffic controller training. To aid in the cost of tuition and enrollment into these programs The Association offers scholarships and bursaries.
