Liberty University helicopter flight program is a part 61/141 flight school located in Lynchburg Virginia. We fly the Schweitzer 300CBI out of the Falwell (W24) airport next to Lynchburg Regional Airport (KLYH) a busy class Delta airspace offering low air traffic right next to plenty of towered radio communication. Practice areas just 3 miles from the airport, a helicopter field at W24, grass strip runways and the beautiful hills of central Virginia. There is plenty of training on and off airport all just minutes away from the hanger reducing transit time and maximizing training. Being part of the Liberty University School of Aeronautics offers students a unique opportunity to get a degree or minor in aviation and flight training within the same program.
