JLS Aviation is a small, but well organized flight school located outside the Washington DC SFRA. The school offers training for Recreation through ATP-ASEL. Currently, both Private and Instrument training is offered under Part 141, and the instruction is structured around the Jeppesen syllabii. The atmosphere is one of a club, and the Flight School also rents aircraft to qualified pilots for business and recreational flying. Ground school is taught three times a year and classes are posted on the web site. Safety and maintenance are areas of primary concern.
