Iowa Lakes Community College is an unknown flight school to many in the midwest. Which is very unfortunate to many who want to become a pilot, but can’t find the funds to help with flight fees. Iowa Lakes offers Private, Instrament, Commercial, Multi-Rating, and CFI certifacte all for a whopping 25,000. (and that includes living on campus) Within two years of starting at Iowa Lakes you can be a certified flight instructor on your way to building the hours you need to join the airlines if that’s what your interested in.The flight instructors are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with and will work with you at your own pace. Sinse not many people know about the flight school here their aren’t many students you have to fight with to get hours with the flight instructor. It also increases that one on one with the teacher. If you are looking for an aviation school that is affordable and friendly Iowa Lakes is at the top of that list.
