At Durham Tees Flight Training we have the capability to provide training for the Private Pilot Licence (JAR-FCL PPL (A)) and the associated IMC Rating and Night Qualification, as well as the National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL), all from a fully-equipped international airport. We provide a range of aircraft, which include Pipers and Cessnas, as well as a Slingsby T67M Firefly and Scottish Aviation Bulldog for aerobatic or unusual attitude familiarisation.
Our Philosophy: Committed to your success, it is our philosophy to provide flight training in a safe, professional and relaxed environment in as cost effective a manner as we possibly can -- you should certainly find us competitive. We will never ask you for advance payment on account. Nor will you find us charging premiums for weekend flying because, quite simply, our costs are the same regardless of when you fly. You’ll just pay for the hours you fly, when you fly. No deposits, no premium rates.
Our experienced and carefully-selected instructors will make sure your training is as safe and as thorough as required, whilst making it as expedient as they can -- we realise time is money. Whether you want to hire an aircraft for an introductory lesson or for training as part of our courses, we will be able to assist you.
